Arms. __1__ . If you keep your arms to the sides of your body or behind your back, this suggests you are not afraid of taking on whatever comes your way. __2__. If someone upsets you, just cross your arms to show you’re unhappy.
分析:借助文章的结构特点—每段开头都列出了段落中心词,因此借助Arms判断空格1和空格2处应该出现讨论到“胳膊运动”的句子,这样判断C和D是答案。比较D和C:D(你怎样保持你胳膊的姿势表明了你是否对你会见的人有偏见,是否愿意接受他们)是在综述“胳膊的位置的揭示作用”,起着总令全段的作用;而C(外向的人通常胳膊的运动幅度很大, 而内向的人会把胳膊放在身体旁。)是在具体的举例说明,因此判断空格1的答案是D;而空格2的答案是C。

hold: v. 使身体保持某种姿势
e.g. Hold yourself still. 身体不要动。

A.     If you are feeling down, you normally don’t sit straight, with your shoulders inwards.

3. F。分析:借助段落开头处的核心词Head作为答案线索,这样判断F(包含了Head,而且在含义上与前句形成转折关系)合适。

A.     If you are feeling down, you normally don’t sit straight, with your shoulders inwards.
