今年暑假我有幸赴澳大利亚学习,短短的一个月是我一生最幸福快乐的日子,我学到了知识,开阔了眼界.我珍惜在澳的每一天,我把每一天都用英语记录了下来.下面是我节选的几篇日记.

Monday July 25 Sunny
After more than eleven hours'flight. Our flight arrived at Melbourne airport at ten past seven in the morning.
A very beautiful girl called Kara came to meet us. We got on a big bus. The driver is a warm-hearted old man with thick beard. His name is Ken. On the way, I kept on asking him something about Australia. Such as life, government, sports. It seemed he wanted to tell me everything under the sun.
We came to our school CAE. CAE is short for Council of Adult Education. There we dropped off our heavy baggage and went to our classroom. Kara gave each of us a pen, a notebook and some infor-mation brochure. Ms Xie gave each of us a tele-phone card which cost ten Australian dollars. Then we visited Flinders Street, the downtown of Mel-bourne. Kara helped us find our everyday traveling lines at the railway station. In the street we saw the Information centre where we can pick information brochure freely. Not far from there we saw a second hand bookshop, a fast food restaurant and some other places.
About one hour later, we came back to CAE again. The staffs there prepared lunch for us, some delicious cookies, sandwiches, fruit such as or-anges, bananas, strawberries, kiwi-fruits. We en-joyed ourselves.
After lunch, our home-stay came to meet us and took us home. We live in different places. Peg-gy, a teacher from No.16 Middle School and I live in Cassandra's. At last we saw our home-stay Cas-sandra, an old lady in her fifties. She is very kind hearted as well as helpful. She helped me with my heavy baggage.
On the train, we talked in English. She asked me, "Did you learn your English abroad or in your own country." I told her this is my first time being abroad. I've never been out of China before. She told me my pronunciation sounds like American English. Getting off the train we got on her own car parking on the roadside. Ten minutes later we got home, a beautiful house with seven bedrooms. She told us she has a daughter and four students, Em-ma, Winnie, George and Christine. Emma is from Innermongolia. Winnie is from Hongkong. George is from Shanghai and Christine is from Colombia.
I took a shower. The students came home one by one. Cassandra and Emma, the girl from Inner-mongolia cooked for us. We had Chinese food.
Tuesday July 26 Rainy
I was dreaming a wonderful dream when someone knocked at the door. "Who What's the matter ""Wake up!" I opened my eyes, had a look at my watch." Peggy, it's 4:55, Oh no. It should be 6:55.We are in Australia now. 4:55 is Beijing time." "Oh, my god we'll be late. We must hurry!" For you know. It is nearly forty minutes by train from Reservoir to Flinders street, and we have to walk at least thirty minutes from home to Reser-voir train station if Cassandra doesn't take us there by car.
